Carbonation

Vigo supplies a range of carbonators for carbonating cider, water, wine and various soft drinks:

  • The in-bottle carbonator (2 or 4 head) lightly carbonates product to the level of pétillant or frizzante.
  • The Vigo carbonator / counter pressure filler, developed and manufactured by Vigo, is 2 head machine which carbonates products before filling the bottles.
  • The automatic in-line carbonator, developed and manufactured by Vigo, carbonates product in-line at 2,000 litres per hour before feeding it to the automatic (counter pressure) bottle filling machine

There are carbonation options available for beer.

NB Beverages must be chilled to less than 4°C for effective carbonation. Vigo's supplies refrigeration systems for chilling products.
