ENGINEERING SERVICES

Vigo is dedicated to providing a complete technical service for our customers in the drinks industry. Our service includes design, construction and modification of equipment and systems to our customers’ specifications. We can plan and manage a project from a full turnkey production line installation through to a single piece of equipment.

The equipment can either be fully tested in our workshops or can be installed and commissioned on site, including the training of operational personnel. We then provide a full maintenance and spare parts after sales service. Our technical team are on hand to help and advise on individual technical enquiries – there is a good chance you can speak to the engineer who actually worked on your machine or installation.

We have our own team of electrical, mechanical, fabrication and service engineers along with fully equipped electrical and engineering workshops. With our own fleet of vehicles we are able to respond quickly to our customers’ service, maintenance and installation requirements throughout the UK.

With our wide experience in the drinks and food industry we are able to offer a wide range of professional, well informed and innovative technical solutions to your processing and packaging requirements.

MEET THE ENGINEERING TEAM

Roger Bullock – Technical Director

Roger manages the technical and engineering functions within Vigo and is responsible for, managing the installation and commissioning of new and used equipment, project management organising customer maintenance requirements, the design and specification of new and modified equipment.

Roger has 40 years of multi-skilled and managerial engineering experience with large national companies in the food and drinks industry. He has gained vast experience and knowledge of a wide range of equipment and processes within the drinks industry including pasteurisation, CIP systems, aseptic filling, bottle filling, labelling, carton erection, process control and production systems.

Mark Nickson – Service Engineer

A multi-skilled engineer with 30 years experience providing machine installation and maintenance services to the food and drink industry, Mark has gained in-depth knowledge of a wide range of equipment including filling machines, labellers, refrigeration, shrink-wrapping and carton erection machines.

Rob Fenwick – Service Engineer

As an electrical engineer with 12 years in the food and drink industry, Rob has gained valuable experience in a wide range of process and packaging equipment, including pasteurisers, filling machines, labelling machines, carton erection/palletising machines and process control.

Paul Easterbrook – Service Engineer

As a multi- skilled engineer with 18 years experience in the food and drink industry, Paul has gained in-depth knowledge and experience of a wide range of equipment including filling machines, labelling machines, CIP systems, pasteurisation systems, carbonators, shrink-wrapping and carton erection machines.

Martin Gillard – Technical Support Engineer

Martin specialises in providing pre and after sales technical support for customers, ensuring that they have the required information, instructions and technical backup they require.

As an engineer Martin has 20 years experience of mechanical and electrical installation, servicing, fault finding of machinery and providing customer support and training.
