copper pot still

This is an attractive, ornamental, working miniature Pot Still. This type of still has been used for centuries for the distillation of essences and spirits.

The still is constructed throughout from copper and consists of a pot with removable lid, held in place by a screw clamp, a spirit burner and a coiled condenser tube in a water bath. The apparatus is supported on a wrought iron frame mounted on a polished wooden base. Operation is simple and effective. Instructions are provided. Leaflet available on request.

We must point out that while it is perfectly legal to posses a still, an Excise licence is required for the distillation of alcohol in the United Kingdom.
