Covid-19 update

Here are a few updates to make you aware of which apply to our our normal opening hours ...

WHAT ARE YOUR CURRENT DELIVERY TIMES?

We are currently within normal delivery times for orders under 80kg [Delivery Method will state <20, <40, <60 or <80]. For orders which need to be despatched on a pallet [Delivery Method will state <300], please allow up to 3 working days for delivery (mainland Britain addresses). If your order is urgent, please call us on 01404 892 100 and we will do all we can to help you.

WHAT RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE?

It is our number one priority to protect staff and support our customers while government guidelines are in place in response to Covid-19. As a result some staff are working from home. In accordance with government guidelines, we have adopted both COVID-secure risk control and additional measures. Please note, whilst government guidelines are in place, visits can only be made by prior arrangement and where our COVID-secure procedure is followed while on our site. If you wish to visit a member of the Vigo team, please call us on 01404 892 100 to make an appointment. You will be required to fill in our Covid Questionnaire prior to your visit and to adhere to the Covid-safety rules on site, which are outlined fully in the questionnaire.

DO YOU DO CLICK-AND-COLLECT?

Our click and collect service is currently in operation, provided you notify us in advance when you are going to collect. On the 'Delivery Method' page of checkout, select collection and notify us via the 'Instructions' box when you are coming to collect. It is our number one priority to protect staff and support our customers while government guidelines are in place in response to Covid-19, therefore you are required to follow our Covid-safety rules while on site. These are outlined below.

  1. You must be free of Covid-19 symptoms
  2. You must not have been in contact with any person showing symptoms of the virus in the previous 14 days
  3. You must wear a mask on site and sanitise your hands
  4. You must respect the 2m social distancing in force on site

I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT TO DISCUSS EQUIPMENT - WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Alternatively, you might like to consider a video call with us instead. Thank you for helping us to keep our site safe.

WHAT ABOUT ENGINEERING SUPPORT?

We continue to provide engineering support by phone. Our engineers are carrying out essential onsite support on a case-by-case basis. Essential onsite support can only be arranged where certain conditions are met: including where travel (and overnight accommodation, if necessary) is permissible in line with government restrictions; where COVID-secure measures are in place in line with government restrictions and guidelines; after a full risk assessment, etc. As always, our engineers wear the appropriate PPE.

DELIVERIES INTO VIGO

Site access remains open for carriers (delivery drivers). Please be aware that we practise 2m social distancing and all visitors must do the same whilst on site; all visitors must wear a mask whilst on our site.
