Automatic disgorging, dosing & topping up machine -

These machines automate the disgorging, dosing & topping up process for English / Welsh sparkling wine production (traditional method), Champagne production (méthode champenoise) and bottle-fermented cider production, allowing you to process high volumes of bottles with minimal labour and space requirement. They can be either operated as a standalone machine with independent conveyor, or inserted into a line, with automated corking/wiring, shaking and exterior washing machines

  • Available as 400, 700 or 900 bottles per hour versions
  • Automatic 4 step process to disgorge (removal of crown cap), partially empty bottle, add liqueur (syrup), and level with wine
  • Includes either a single turret which performing all operations in a single rotation, or 2 turrets which separate the operations, depending on model

Operation:

  • Bottles enter on the conveyor in an upright position (with neck frozen)
  • Bottles are gripped and tilted to for disgorging
  • The cap is lifted and ejected with the ice plug through a tube to a removable box in the base of the machine
  • The bottle is immediately sealed to prevent loss of wine, tilted for dosing and then returned to the vertical position for final levelling
  • If, for any reason, the cap is not removed a sensor stops the machine, preventing the bottle from entering the levelling stage.
