Voran RM 2.2 Centrifugal Mill
The Voran RM 2.2 is a heavy-duty centrifugal mill, manufactured by internationally renowned Voran, suppliers of fruit processing equipment since 1925. Designed primarily as a high-performance apple scratter, this robust machine is ideal for efficiently milling apples for cider and juice production, while also being suitable for a range of other fruits and some vegetables (see Application).
With its durable construction and powerful milling action, the RM 2.2 scratter is well suited to both small and medium-scale production environments, delivering consistent pulp quality for optimal pressing results.
- Capacity of up to 1,000 kg per hour
- A robust apple scratter ideal for apple juice and cider production
- Suitable for use with all hydraulic bed presses
- Suitable for fruit mashing for distilleries – see Application for compatible fruits
- Suitable for producing cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juices – see Application
- Fruit is fed manually into the hopper, pulverised by a heavy rotor, and discharged through a perforated screen which resembles a grater
- Interchangeable perforation screens (graters) can be easily swapped for different sizes, allowing you to control pulp consistency depending on fruit type and quality
- A Voran Pomace Trough (part code 91410) is available separately to fit under the RM 2.2 scratter, with a sloped end and smooth sides to assist with pomace handling
- Supplied with a 16 amp, 5 pin plugÂ
