Voran ZBP1100 Twin belt press

The ZBP1100 twin belt press is manufactured by internationally renowned Voran, suppliers of fruit processing equipment since 1925.

Automatic belt presses offer a way of pressing high volumes of fruit pulp with minimal labour costs. When used with a Voran wash mill and elevator (available separately - see below), the belt press offer continuous, automatic pressing and milling of apples. Belt presses are typically used to press milled apples, but press some other fruits and vegetables - see Application for list.

Pulp (e.g., apple pulp from milled apples) is fed continuously onto the porous belt of the belt press and pressed against a series of steel rollers, which extract the juice. Yields are comparable and, in some cases, higher than those achieved by hydraulic presses. Using a belt press gives a short pressing time and leads to minimal air contact. The quality of the juice is usually very high as a result, with minimal solid content.

  • Presses up to 7,000 kg of apple pulp per hour - WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW (click on Videos tab)
  • Twin belt system gives juice yields of up to 80%, depending on fruit variety and quality
  • Use with the Voran WAR65 wash mill with elevator
  • Comprehensive 2 year warranty, backed up by Vigo engineers

Since we began supplying Voran equipment in 1987, their commitment to product development in response to the needs of juice producers and market trends has been demonstrated year on year.

Here are some more reasons why we choose Voran for their presses, mills and reception equipment:

  • Their extensive specialist experience in apple processing (coming up to 100 years)
  • Voran's presses are designed to achieve excellent juice yields from fresh and stored fruit (up to 80%, depending on model, fruit variety and fruit quality) for optimised raw juice quality (freshness, flavour, aroma & structure) and low juice turbidity
  • Their equipment is of high build quality and extremely robust - there are many Voran presses in the UK over 20 years old which are still giving good service today
  • Their presses and mills are designed for fast juice collection for minimal oxidation
  • They manufacture in-house at their site in Austria and so are in full control of the manufacturing process
