Application

Impeller pumps are used for the rapid transfer of liquids, when pressing, raking off and pumping from one tank to another. They are suitable for free-running liquids and liquids with some small solids in suspension. They are not generally suitable for use with filters unless the pump has a precise variable speed control - this pump doesn't have variable speed control.

WARNING/PLEASE BE ADVISED:
This pump body will crack if the hose fittings are attached with too much PTFE tape. It is advised to use a liquid type sealant (e.g., Double Bubble etc).
This pump is not suitable for use with hoses that will add excessive weight to the pump body. Flexible hoses like our clear braided PVC hoses (see below) should only be used, as these are flexible and do not add undue stress to the pump body. Undue stress to the pump body will cause it to crack.
Failure to follow the advise above will invalidate the warranty.

We can fit the hose connections but at additional cost - please call us on 01404 892 100
