Kreyer Air conditioning units

Kreyer air conditioning units are manufactured by internationally renowned Kreyer, a WTG Quantor brand, who have over 40 years of specialist knowledge in wine temperature control at all stages of vinification. Kreyer systems are designed to meet the rigorous requirements of modern winemaking. They are also ideal for cider, juice, spirit and soft drink applications.

Kreyer air conditioning units operate by using cold or hot water supplied by a Kreyer cooling unit are available in the models below:

  • Thermo Fan MR: used for the cooling and heating of small rooms (up to 500 m³), available in 4 different compact sizes, ideal for cooling rooms, wine cellars, store rooms and tasting rooms
  • Thermo Fan SD-S: used for the cooling and heating of large rooms (500 to 2,500 m³), robust and efficient, available in 4 different sizes, designed for use in moist surroundings like cooling rooms, wine cellars or store room
  • Thermo Fan TA: used for the cooling and heating of large rooms and halls (up to 2,500 m³), very efficient, available in 4 different sizes, designed for use in damp environments with high water concentration in the air like cooling rooms, wine cellars or storage halls - the cooling unit used to operate this fan can be the unit used for fermentation control

Whether you require an individual air conditioning unit and cooling unit, or a complete room and product cooling/temperature control system with ringmains and Speidel tanks* (insulated or standard) with heating/cooling jackets, we can help. Our engineers install and commission complete cooling/temperature regulation systems, this includes the construction of a bespoke ringmain (pipework) and bracketry.

Company Development

The Kreyer brand was founded in 1970 in Villefranche sur Saône, France - the centre of the Beaujolais wine production area. In 1998 the company changed ownership and was incorporated by Wine Technology GmbH (WTG), an Austrian, American & German partnership, and since then headquarters have been located in the triangle of Germany, France & Luxembourg, in the heart of the Mosel winegrowing region. Further company expansion led to the development of larger production facilities. The company has since expanded and changed its name to WTG-Quantor GmbH. WTG-Quantor is now represented in all major wine-growing countries worldwide, incorporating over 80 countries, including Chile, South Africa and Australia.

Functions

Quantor's equipment range covers the following functions:
