Barida Muima TG semi automatic disgorging, dosing & topping, corking & muzzling machine

The Muima semi-automatic machine is manufactured by the renowned Barida International and allows you to rapidly disgorge, dose and top up English / Welsh sparkling wine (traditional method), Champagne (méthode champenoise) and bottle-fermented ciders. It also includes a semi automatic corking turret (for champagne corks) and semi automatic wire muzzle application turret.

Operator manually loads and un-loads the bottles, with automated functions for:

  1. Removal of the crown cap, forcing out the frozen plug (disgorgement)
  2. Partial emptying of bottle
  3. Injection of liqueur (dosage)
  4. Re-levelling with product

Operator manually moves each bottle to the corking station for semi-automatic corking of champagne corks, then onto wiring station for semi-automatic wire muzzle application.
