The SP eccentric screw pump range is manufactured by Schneider Pumpen, who have over 70 years' experience manufacturing pumps. The SP range includes 4 models of pump, with a capacity range from 2,800 to 40,000 litres per hour.

  • High quality eccentric screw pumps
  • Models range from 2,800 to 40,000 litres per hour
  • 2 speed as standard
  • Reversible motor for pumping in either direction (forward & back)
  • Smooth, gentle flow
  • Suitable for free-running, viscous liquids, and liquids containing a high solid load, such as fruit pulps
  • Ideal for use (where necessary) between milling/crushing and pressing equipment and for routine transfer from tank to tank or vessel to vessel
  • With bypass
  • Stainless steel rotor and contact parts
  • Mounted on a trolley

Application

Eccentric screw pumps, also known as progressive cavity pumps, are highly versatile. They are ideal for pumping viscous liquids, fruit pulp, and free-running liquids. Please note, for high solid loads, models SP3 & SP4 are the appropriate pumps [SP1 & SP2 are more suitable for pumping liquids gently with minimum agitation].

They are not generally suitable for use with filters unless the pump has a precise variable speed control - the standard version of this pump doesn't have variable speed control, however see the an eccentric screw pump with variable speed control.

  • Maximum ABV: 15%

  • Their pumps are suitable for most drink applications
  • They provide one the widest selection of filtration vessels, depth filters and pleated cartridges available today
  • Their aim is to supply the right pump for the right application and their focus during design is the consistency, viscosity, weight of the product; the pressures required; the protective features required (e.g., guarding against overpressure, etc.); and hydrodynamic and volumetric considerations
  • Their pumps are manufactured to a high standard and designed for ease of use, efficiency and low maintenance
  • They are a solid and committed family-run company

The range

The Schneider range includes the following pumps:

  • Impeller pumps for the rapid transfer of liquids, e.g., when pressing fruit, raking off after fermentation, and pumping from one tank or vessel to another
