We supplied, installed and commissioned a temperature control system, including a Kreyer chilling & heating unit, ringmain and Speidel tanks with jackets. We also overhauled a Willmes press.
Herbert Hall is dedicated to the production of high quality handmade English sparkling wines, made from organic grapes grown at Herbert Hall and their vineyard in Kent. Their wines were selected to represent the 'Best of British' wines at the House of Commons in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics. Herbert Hall wine is sold in some of London's top restaurants and retailers including Le Caprice, The Ivy, Harrods and Fortnum & Mason. They have since been voted one of the 'top ten sparkling wines of the world' by Wall Street Journal and were selected by HRH the Prince of Wales to make a Highgrove Cuvee.
Co-owner Nick Hall required a flexible tank capacity with temperature control and a complete overhaul of his used Willmes press.
Vigo supplied a range of Speidel variable capacity tanks with external jackets for heating and cooling. Vigo’s engineers installed and commissioned a Kreyer chilling and heating unit (Chilly MAX 50) with ringmain and individual tank temperature control units.
As UK agents for Willmes, Vigo also carried out a complete overhaul of Nick's used Willmes UP1800 press.
