Lyme Bay Winery produces award-winning English wines fruit wines, liqueurs, meads and traditional ciders. They have a 26,000 vine vineyard and source apples from local traditional cider varieties. They have gained an impressive array of awards from the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWCS), Decanter World Wine, UKVA English & Welsh Wine of the Year, Great Taste and the International Cider Challenge, and now produce spirits. Lyme Bay was founded by Nigel Howard, and now co-owned and run by James Lambert.
Fermentation and storage tanks were required to give flexibility and maximum efficiency in the production process of the wide range of products. It was essential that the tanks should be easy to use, very easily cleaned, and a range of capacities.
We supplied a range of Speidel tanks ranging from 10,000 litres down to 2,500 litres capacity and smaller, with accessories to suit the James' requirements.
We have also supplied winery equipment for pressing, temperature control, filling, capping and labelling.
