CO2 regulator with heater
Heated CO2 pressure reducing regulators like these are recommended when high pressure CO2 (supplied in cylinders at 300 bar) needs to be reduced to a usable pressure for certain products, e.g., our In bottle carbonator and 4 Head manual counter pressure filler.
With cylinders supplying CO2 for the products above, we strongly recommend the use of heated regulators to ensure a constant carbonation level in the product. If a non-heated regulator is used then ice can form on the outside of the regulator causing fluctuations in pressure affecting the level of carbonation; eventually the regulator may stop working altogether and no carbonation will be carried out.
- Outlet gauge enables direct low pressure reading
- Two independent heating elements controlled by thermostat
- Stabilized temperature up to 30 lpm continuous CO2 flow
- Overheating protection with resettable thermal fuse
- Suitable for BS8 cylinder fittings
