Application

Impeller pumps are used for the rapid transfer of liquids, when pressing, raking off and pumping from one tank to another. They are suitable for free-running liquids and liquids with some small solids in suspension.

They are not generally suitable for use with filters unless the pump has a precise variable speed control - this pump doesn't have variable speed control.
