Glycol has a high capacity for transfer of heat.
- Used as a freezing agent in Neck Freezers used for sparkling wine/cider production (typically as a 50% solution)
- Used as a freezing agent in temperature control systems (typically as a 30% solution) in wine, cider, beer and soft-drink production.
